Igniting Roots and Talents: Panorama Cultural Intercollegiate 2025
On Saturday, August 23, 2025, our Folkloric Group Ticalpa, under the guidance of teacher Priscila Álvarez, shone on the stage of the prestigious Teatro Popular Melico Salazar as part of the Panorama Cultural Costa Rica Dreams Intercollegiate 2025, an event that has become one of the most important platforms for promoting art and culture among Costa Rican youth.

This celebration brought together 12 student groups from different regions of the country, in an evening filled with color, music, and tradition. Folkloric dance was the highlight of the night, framed by an atmosphere of joy and cultural pride. Each performance showcased the richness of our heritage and reaffirmed that the artistic talent of our students is a vital pillar in building and preserving a strong national identity.

For the audience, it was not only an evening of quality performances but also a reminder of the importance of supporting new generations in their artistic journeys. The enthusiasm, discipline, and creativity of the young performers resonated in every choreography, sparking applause and admiration from all present.

More than just an event, the Panorama Cultural was a national celebration of talent and roots—a space where dance became a bridge between culture, creativity, and community.
